What creates life-change? In this post, not only will I give you the secret formula for life-change, but I am also giving you an invitation to join me to help you become who you are meant to be and make the difference you are born to make.

What Doesn’t Change Lives:

You know what doesn’t change lives? Information. You can know all the stuff, and it do nothing for you.

For example, I have a blog on the internet. And as we all know, the internet is run on information. I have signed up for plenty of classes, membership groups, bought books, done the worksheets and online courses. But they didn’t really bring much change. Heck, I probably have a masters degree in communications and marketing by now. But does it matter? Nope. Why? I don’t implement 80% of it.

Over a year ago, I was invited into a coaching group that provided access to a person I trust who was implementing all the information I’ve been learning and doing it well. They also were going to give us accountability. At the time, I knew that was exactly what I needed to actually use what I’ve learned at apply it on my blog. I didn’t have time then, so I swore that if I had the oppurtunity again, I would take it.

Sure enough, a year later the opportunity came again and I still didn’t have the time. But I knew that I would never, ever, ever move forward until I found myself living life with people in an online community who I had access to that could help provide accountability to actually do the work. I still struggle carving out time, and had to adjust my lifestyle. But it was important to me and worth it, because Average Advocate is what I do. And unless I can make it truly serve you, I am wasting my life away.

What type of life-change is worth it to you to adjusting your life for?

I still have a long way to go, but I am actually finally moving forward on things I’ve have the information to do for many years. The truth is, information doesn’t bring life-change.

Information isn’t Enough

I give you information. I make you videos, give you free PDFs tools, blog posts, and even speak. You might find some life-changing information from me and gosh, hopefully from others!

But again, that is just information. Information doesn’t change lives.
What changes lives, then? IMITATION & IMPLEMENTATION.

Information that is taught via imitation (modeling, coaching, guidance, access) and then implemented (actually doing what needs to be done) is what actually changes a life.

The Secret Formula For Life-Change

So here is your secret formula for life-change (now, not-so-secret): INFORMATION that is learned through IMITATION and applied through IMPLEMENTING it equals life INNOVATION.

(BTW, this isn’t my brain-child, it is something I learned from 3DM, or 3-Dimensional Ministries)

So, you want to make a difference in the world? You want to be you, more fully alive? Seek someone to imitate and spend your energy implementing what you’ve learned.

Who have you found worth imitating that can help you implement what is needed to change your life and make a difference in the world?

Now, I am not sure if I am the right person for you to imitate and implement with. But if you’ve gleaned some knowledge from me at all, maybe I am.

Sometimes I am not sure you realize this, but this is what I live for, guys. I actually want to empower you as you seek justice, rise as a leaders, and help you guide your kids to be world changers. We barley touch the surface when I just pass on information to you.

But giving you access to me and my (imperfect) life? That might actually take you to the next step. It might change your life so you can change the world.
